COURSES:

I have been a professor since 2006, teaching at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in the Department of Art History, Theory and Criticism, the Low-Residency MFA Program, and Sophomore Seminar, and formerly at Columbia College Chicago Department of Humanities, History and Social Sciences and A+D Department.

I have developed educational arts programming and community-based service learning with SAIC Department of Multicultural Affairs, Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, South Side Community Art Center, Social Justice Initiative at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and Wabash Arts Corridor Initiative.  

I speak and present performance-lectures on Afro-Futurism and on my art practice, locally, nationally, and internationally.
